Suspicious Cheesy Mayor in Pet Society

That’s one big hunk of cheese! Standing 7.2 centimeters (2.8 inches), the Cheesy Mayor is taller than the King Burger, and could probably feed a village.

However, I suspect that this one, sent in by a reader named Shane, isn’t legitimate. Shane was surprised to find this in his friend’s house, because the Cheesy Mayor is the final recipe in our book, and would require hundreds of dishes to be made beforehand. Playfish released the cooking feature in Pet Society on December 11. This image was sent to me on December 16.

I tried to do a search for cooking cheats in Pet Society but couldn’t find anything. Another reader says that she’s also seen a couple of Cheesy Mayors and Wedding Cakes floating around and is convinced that these are products of a hack. If you’re into black-market trading or installing cheat programs, it’s possible to get these items without slaving in your kitchen all day long.

Thanks for catching that. I haven’t been able to log into Pet Society lately so wasn’t able to verify if the cheesy mayor came with plates underneath, but I’ve changed the measurements, since the plates really do look separate from the mayor.

i think it IS possible if your cooking consisted solely of soups or other quick meals but who knows

Wow that’s really huge! I figure the owner put it on not 1 but 3 plates just to make sure their pet doesn’t eat the thing! lol

Anyway, Soyon, did you get my pics of my pet with the different eyes? You do a beauty poll weekly-ish, right?

In the book, there’s no plates underneath it.
The owner probably put them there so the pet wouldn’t eat it.

Yes, I think it’s true you need to make 1024 dishes to get to the Cheesy Mayor, because it doubles for every level.

Some guy on the Playfish forum was selling Cheesy Mayor and Wedding Cakes already on the day after the feature was released, so it HAS to be some sort of hack.

It is a hack. If you know how to use shopmaker (which I don’t) you can edit the luxury shop to sell items you want using a database file. The file contains items from the mystery boxes, the recipes, etc. Thats how some people trade unreleased items before the official release date. Same with the cheesy mayor. Someone used shopmaker and then bought the mayor from the luxury shop.

WOW you can imagine my surprise to see this since that is ****MY PET and MY HOUSE**** lol OMG! 🙂
    To answer all looming questions……
no I did not cook the Mayor, nor did I hack the Mayor, or even Buy the mayor. I don’t know how the huge thing came into existence actually. I have a friend on PS who exchanges gifts with me, neither of us speak the same language. The gifts started small enough, but then got increasingly more expensive, more rare, new MB items, lux shop, cash shop etc….. it was like we were trying to each give the better gift. Then one strange day while decorating a winter scene, who should show up on my doorstep -but The Cheesy Mayor Himself! I was stunned. The cooking option had only been added that week. Since I don’t speak my friend’s language I couldn’t even ask how they did it. (And believe me I tried a translator program previously and it didn’t help).
Soooooo there I was dumbstruck by the giant hunk of cheese, nothing to say even. Since then I’ve had no way to top that. Thus my friend and I have exchanged no more gifts. It’s safe to say…. the Mayor Took The Cheese 😉

I figured that there had been a “Wisconsin Cheese” theme sometime before I started playing!

Maybe, if u want to get the cheesy mayor, i think it gonna be hard work, staring at the computer waiting for the vegetable soup to finish cooking. I say, i have a better way to do that. Just cook vegetable soup every once in a while. Before u know it, you’re already z-list chef!
