Ack! It’s what’s his name—Houdini, Hideeni, Hideous! My pet Sushi was just visiting a friend when all of a sudden, the creature sprang out of nowhere. Sushi was so frightened that he bolted for the door and nearly pooed in his pants.
I can’t decide who is scarier in this scene—the masked, white-haired witch or Hideeni. But I did give into Playfish’s viral marketing scheme and published my status so that friends could collect Hideeni’s puppy plushie. It was the first time I ever published a status report from Pet Society.
Up til now, I was a closet Pet Societyholic. But now EVERYONE knows. What’s worse, this happened on a FRIDAY night when I should have been out, mingling with exciting, dynamic people at exciting, dynamic parties. Oh, shame. Shame.

if you found the chicken, you receive the gift. but it’s only for your friends. if you see your friends post that she got the prize, you click claim free gift, but don’t claim yours cause it’s not counted.
u need to click that ugly yellow black chicken to make a note appear. then Publish in your FB wall by click the blue speaker, or else u wont get any dog.

He scared the crap out of me when he snuck up behind my pet. Was not expecting him to just show up like that.
I think it’s kinda creepy looking. Reminds me an ugly pinata. Wait, wasn’t this in the shop at one point? Anyway, it took me a while to find him. Now, I have another doll to my collections.

Good observation about Sushi’s mouth. He was actually smiling his usual smile when running into what’s-his-name. The picture here is a dramatic recreation.
By the way, nice video you made. That must have taken a lot of work. I like the part where it lists how many visits went by.
I think he’s creepy and just plain embarrassing, i was at the mystery shop when he popped out of no where yesterday, I almost fell out of my chair, it frightened me….XD

The first thought that sprung to mind when I saw this Hideeni creature was “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”… I know it sounds like I’m making this up but it actually WAS. He looks exactly like a creepy wolf trying to look like a sheep and failing miserably 😉

I love Sushi’s grimace! He scared the golden poo out of Jossie’s pants! I thought my husbands pet Chump Change was scary and ugly but this hideous thing even scared his pet. I had to laugh about you having second thoughts about posting your PS status but look, now every one knows that you are playful and young at heart! Of course I’m saying this while I’m walking around with a paper sack over my head so no one in my family will make fun of me. Ahhh, the things we must endure for the love of PS!

Well I just found Hideeni again today. But when my friend tried to accept the prize, PS told him he can have only one puppy doll. Too bad.

I dont get it. People keep ranting on their walls about finding a cow on their farms, announcing that they need ingredients for their restaurants and whatnot. They seem to be so proud of their virtual achievements and yet we, pet societyholics, are just too ashamed to admit we like to play. How come?
Ruth, that’s a good question. I’m not speaking for other PS players–I think most of them are fine with publishing their game achievements. I should clarify that I don’t play Farmville or Restaurant City so I don’t publish any reports about cows and menus. I guess there’s a part of me that’s very embarrassed to admit to my real-life friends that I play any game to the extent that I do. But perhaps I just need to get over it.
Maybe it is just a personal matter, but i find it iteresting because i never see any PS posts and i have many friends who play the game. Most of them are ashamed to admit they play as much as they do, or did, but are now more than happy to post about any other games. They even brag about how much they log in to check on their farms and properties. I guess i would have to check with other PS players to compare.
Yeah I understand about feeling weird publishing. I turned off all the automatic reports from all my apps and even though I play RC I rarely ask for ingredients. But then most of my friends play Farmville, Mafia Wars, and others and they publish reports all the time. (It’s a wonder I managed to catch when any of my PS friends found Hideeni I see so many reports from other friends’ apps)
On one hand I feel it’s kind of rude on my part to publish anything, even though I have no problem with the massive amounts of stuff many of my friends publish. On the other hand, I publish so rarely I kinda figure noone should mind.
I do wish Hideeni would give out a new gift soon though… I’ve found him 4 times in the last 2-3 days and I’m pretty certain all my actively playing friends have the puppy by now.

I have seen hideeni SIX times! i published it on the first time. why does he keep popping up? it’s kind of annoying. i’m not going to publish it over and over.
Well, that’s great for your friends. Each time you publish the story, that’s a chance for your friends to get the puppy, if they don’t already have one.
I don’t add strangers so I only have 4 friends who play pet society (out of 600). So Hideeni is just popping up and scaring me for no reason… haha
Hideeni scares the living crap out of me. Seriously. He’s the freakiest pet I’ve ever seen. 😆
My friend took a picture with Hideeni…LOL she called him a freak..she said that Hideeni is a gift giver but why would a gift giver wear a chicken as a… as a…gift giving suit???lol

He is cute AND creepy. I think it’s ridiculous that we have to put a bunch of junk in our friends’ feeds for this, though. I actually haven’t found Hideeni, but a couple of my friends have, so I got the plushie.

Lorena, yeah that is true. But not many of my real friends knew about my blog or my addiction to PS. So it’s like I was leading a double life…one out of the closet and one firmly in with the door locked!
i realised we have so much in common, i’m also a 13-year-old girl, when i saw hideeni, i had to think twice before posting it on my wall, because all my friends would see that i still play pet society, even on fridays when i should be dancing and partying. i also faced this problem when the feature of active pets came out, i was very ashamed!!!

hmm.. h-h-hideeni.. difficult topic for me to talk about… but for you g-guyss I will.. o-okay here g-goes!: okay when I f-first met him, i didn’t mind him.. he wasn’t the CUTEST of characters but i wasn’t like ARGHGHGHGH! he was fine I guess.. so I kept going up to him.. giving my friends puppies and reindeers etc. when one horrible day.. 😦 he sexually forced himself upon my poor pet cheese 😥 this scarred her for life, and now she always wears trousers under her dresses.. scared that this mutant chicken thingy would return again 😦 …….. … on the other hand, now that he wears that pink tiger suit he’s bearable to look at.. and more or less adorable ^_^
lol I think hideeni is black so he stands out~ as there’s no black for pets on pet society.
